Georg Büchner schrieb mit 23 Jahren „Woyzeck“, ein poetisches und dunkles Fragment, basierend auf realen wissenschaftlichen Experimenten und kriminologischen Fällen. Woyzeck wird als Studienobjekt missbraucht, gedemütigt von seinem Vorgesetzten und wird zum Außenseiter in einer militaristischen und patriarchalen Gesellschaft. Doch Woyzeck ist auch Täter. Er begeht Femizid an Marie, mit der er ein Verhältnis hat und ein gemeinsames Kind.

Georg Büchner wrote “Woyzeck” at the age of 23, a poetic and dark fragment based on real scientific experiments and criminological cases. Woyzeck becomes abused as a study subject, humiliated by his superior and treated as an outsider in a militaristic and patriarchal society. Yet Woyzeck is not only victim of circumstances but also a perpetrator. He commits a femicide against Marie, with whom he has an affair and a child.
